Tayler specializes in treating trauma, mood/anxiety disorders, OCD, chronic and severe mental illness, personality disorders, and issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community. Tayler provides support to couples navigating relationship challenges through evidence-based couples therapy modalities.

Grounded in a humanistic approach that emphasizes unconditional positive regard and positive psychology, Tayler focuses on identifying and building on each client’s inherent strengths. He integrates a wide range of evidence-based treatments including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Multidimensional Family Recovery (MDFR), Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) among others to create a treatment that is catered to each individual person based on their current needs/presentation.

Tayler is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard, and accepted. He believes that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship—one built on trust, respect, and authenticity. His goal is to help clients work through life’s most difficult challenges while supporting their growth, resilience, and sense of self.

In addition to therapy, Tayler provides comprehensive psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults. His assessment services include cognitive, academic, emotional, and personality testing, as well as diagnostic clarification for conditions such as ADHD, learning disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related concerns, and autism spectrum disorder. Tayler approaches testing with a trauma informed lens in a collaborative and compassionate mindset, ensuring that clients feel understood and supported throughout the process. His goal is to provide clear, actionable insights that empower clients and families to better understand themselves and access appropriate care.

A little bit about me:

Tayler Rose, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist originally from Portland, Oregon. He completed his undergraduate studies at Portland State University before relocating to Massachusetts to earn his doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD). Throughout his academic and professional journey, Tayler has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, gaining experience across diverse populations and levels of care.

His background includes in-home ABA therapy, residential treatment for children and adults with eating disorders, day programs for individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses, outpatient therapy for all age groups, community mental health organizations, working closely with the Department of Children and Families and Department of Mental Health for intensive in-home work and school-based mental health services. Tayler also has extensive experience working with adolescents and families within the LGBTQIA+ community through in-home and community-based treatment models.
