Mandy's goal in the therapeutic relationship is to help you access the tools and insights needed to create a more fulfilling life. Mandy supports clients in challenging unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening internal and external resources, and establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries. Whether you are navigating complex emotions such as anger or grief, facing difficult decisions in your career or relationships, or feeling overwhelmed by daily stress, we can work collaboratively to cultivate the clarity and balance necessary for meaningful change.
Mandy's therapeutic style integrates a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Expressive Arts Therapy, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Mandy takes a collaborative, person-centered, and integrative approach tailored to your unique needs, whether you are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or experiences of abuse.
Mandy works with individuals across the lifespan, with particular expertise in supporting youth and young adults as they navigate developmental transitions and identity formation. Mandy's experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, allowing me to support clients within the broader relational and systemic contexts that shape their lives.
Within a therapeutic relationship rooted in respect and trust, Mandy strives to create a safe space where you can share openly and honestly without fear of judgment. Taking the first steps toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life requires courage, and Mandy is here to support and empower you throughout that process.
A little bit about me:
Mandy completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School and Community Specialization and School Adjustment Counseling at Lesley University. While a lot of Mandy's work has been with children and adolescents in both school and partial hospitalization program settings, she also really enjoys working with adults individually and while offer support around parenting.
I'm a good fit if you're looking for:
A warm yet grounded and objective presence—bringing thoughtful perspective and, when appropriate, gentle humor.
