Jamila enjoys working with teenagers and adults. She has experience in helping people with anxiety, depression, coping with grief and loss, self-esteem, identity related issues, and more. She uses several modalities and draws from several approaches based on each clients' individual needs, including critical race theory, CBT, relational approach, attachment, and IFS. Jamila believes that having someone to talk to when life gets hard is an essential part of caring for yourself and she sees the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity for grounding, connection, self-exploration, and growth.
